Julez, your response made me love you.  I can not stand SATC and I never have been able to tolerate it.  Do you get as much of a kick out of the wanna be tourists as I do?

E - haha. Ah, the SATC tours. I also hate Magnolia Bakery. I want to vomit just thinking about it. It makes me so annoyed that some girls think I'm getting married at City Hall "just like Carrie and Mr. Big!" Um, no.

I loved SATC until I started working at Manolo. I am SO SICK of people coming in squealing and repeating every episode that every shoe was in. I know what episodes they were in...I sell them and I see them every day and I hear it every day. I even regret my blue shoe that I had picked out before the movie came out and I had no idea it was her wedding shoe. I wish I would have gotten the white feathers like Mocha.

Oh...and everyone asking me if Carrie shops there. No. Carrie is not real. And I don't picture SJP hanging out in Vegas at Manolo.

Does Carrie shop here? I would have to just walk away from those people. I think it's the obsession that gets me more than the show itself. It's just too much.

Actually I do still love the show...just hate the obsession and the imitators. Just so sick of hearing about it. All day long I hear people in the store and in front of the store...sex in the city, sex in the city, sex in the city...Its on repeat in my head. And walking NYC sidewalks in stilettos is a great way to peel the leather off your heels and destroy your shoes. All about the flats.

1. Dessert- well, it's 3pm Monday afternoon here, so no- I don't plan on having dessert as yet! And in actuality, FI and I really don't ever eat dessert, unless we're eating at a restaurant (and even then, only rarely). 2. Be weirded out, but it would depend on how much I liked the guy and if he already had a baby! 3. Nope, because I don't get your US shows here.4. I adored battlestar gallatica- my favourite episode was when Laura returned and Adama was there waiting for her and they made out. Yes, watching 60 year olds kiss is my TV highlight! haha. That said, I was really disappointed that the last few minutes of the last episode really let the whole show down. Such a bad end to what was a fantastic show. 5. I have no clue. I don't actually watch a lot of TV- FI and I watch the UK MI5 show 'Spooks', 'Doctor Who' and used to watch Battlestar... oh, and we also stream a cooking show that's on here every week. That's about the extent of our TV viewing.
