My invitations do not have an inner envelope? How would you address them to a single person and guest? Is it tacky to address the outer envelope Ms. ______ & Guest? TIA

    If the person is in a serious relationship, you need to make the effort to find out the name of the person they are dating. If it is just a person you are extending the courtesy of a guest to, it's fine to address it & guest.

    It's not tacky to put & Guest but I didn't like the way it looked so I just put my guest's name on the envelope and included a little note written on cardstock saying that they were free to invite a guest.
