**Julez**

Hey, yes thanks for checking in with me. I didn't get it until later.FMIL sent me her adresses in Word, but they are all seperated in columns. She doesn't know how to do mail merge either, but I guess someone from work told her it was easiest this way.So it looks like Title, Name, Street, Town, State, Zip across the page.I haven't typed out my family or our friends addresses yet, so I could really go either way on how to do things. I just don't know what is easiest. Thanks!

  • If you do the mail merge, yeah, you have to set everything up in individual columns like you said. Then, you open a word doc and select "mail merge" from the tools menu. From there Word kinda walks you through it but I always seem to mess something up. If everything's already separated into columns then it may be simple enough to copy each column onto an Excel sheet. A mail merge is definitely helpful, it just always takes a little playing around for me to get it right. Sorry, I can't do detailed directions tonight, I'm on a Mac and I'm used to doing merges on my work PC.
  • Eek, I gave it a whirl, and I'm using the wizard, but its not inserting any addresses. Ugh.If you get a chance tomorrow, send me a page!
