Program Question..Is it okay?

Hi! I am working on my programs and cannot figure out if this would be okay... FI Sister in law cannot come because she is due to have her baby two weeks before the wedding. (would be traveling 12 hours) One of my best friends cannot come because her baby is due two weeks after the wedding. (would be traveling 14 hours) FI Grandmother cannot make it because she is ill. I wanted to add something in the program to remember them...would not be in the deceased paragraph, obviously. Any ideas??? Is this appropriate? Do you think people will think it is rude to remember only them and not others who declined? **Both FI sister in law and my friend were supposed to be bridesmaids until they found out they were pregnant and the doctor told them they could not travel the distance. Thanks!

I would list FSIL and best friend in the list of other bridesmaids. I would also list the grandmother when you list out the grandparents.It would be rude to remember them without acknowledging everyone who declined, but listing them with the family/WP is perfectly acceptable. You don't need to write anything about them not being there, people will figure it out.

If you really want to list them in the program I would list your FSIL and friend as BMs. IMO though I think its a little silly. I'm not sure about where you would like your grandmother... are your listing your other grandparants on the program?

I would just list your FSIL and friend as regular BM's. And we are listing all our grandparents, whether they come or not. A paragraph isn't really necessary.

Thanks! It seemed a little different to me as well, that is why I wanted to ask. The grandmother I mentioned is the only grandparent still living for either of us.
