wedding planning binder?

Hi ladies - a friend of mine once made me a planning binder, and I'd like to do the same for a friend of mine that just recently got engaged. But it's been such a long time since I did wedding planning stuff - what should I put in it? Any suggestions on divider tabs? Thoughts? TIA for the help!

Cute idea!  Mine has tabs for pretty much every vendor--photographer, videographer, florist, dress, reception venue, ceremony venue, DJ, limo, etc.  It makes stuff pretty easy to find.

My divider tabs are: Inspiration, Venue, Photographer, Videographer, Music, Florist, Attire, Guests, Hair, Makeup, Details, Honeymoon I used a 12-pocket accordion folder and it was a life saver. I got it at Staples for like $3-4.

You ladies are fab. Do you think she'd prefer an accordion folder type dealie or a binder w/ sheet protector things? Myself, I think I'd be partial to the accordion folder, but... a binder is cuter. Ah, details.

My planning binder what a pretty personal thing. We all organize differently and while you may have appreciated the thought from your friend - your recently engaged friend may already have a plan for her binder. What about if you bought her supplies - tabs, a binder, sticky notes, protective sheets, highlighters, etc. and let her put it together herself?

I would prefer a binder over an accordion.

I second the idea of providing your friend with the supplies and she can customize the binder to her liking. I included dividers and sheet protectors in mine as well as a small zippered pen and pencil holder for supplies like my zip drive and post it notes.
