  • v - yes, you're gorg. On the topic of hair -- can I ask your advice. I'm going grey. It's starting to become pretty noticable. (I get rude comments all the time about pre-mature greying) My stylist said simple highlights would help cover. I've only done highlights in college - and it wasn't the right look for me. I'm nervous. Do you think she's right? And what color to get? You seem to be hair savy. I'm not. Seeking advice.

I still need to get a post-wedding haircut/color but can't decide what color to dye my hair. I dye it close to my natural color (dark brown) but I am intrigued by the idea of going a bit red. I can't decide if I can pull off a dark reddish brown though and I'm afraid to try it and hate it. Ugh. Shan - Those people making those comments are jerks. I agree with Verona that you pull off the dark hair very well!

  • ggmae - "I can't decide if I can pull off a dark reddish brown though and I'm afraid to try it and hate it. Ugh. " Every one can pull off red. If you're nervous, start with red highlights & go from there. They make darker reds that will blend well with brown hair. If you like the look, keep it & try more red the next go-round. Careful though, you might get hooked!
