Renting Jewelry??

Is anyone or has anyone ever rented or borrowed fancy jewelry for their wedding? I don't really wear pearls nor want to invest the money on them, but I would like some really pretty pieces for the wedding. I was looking into bagborrowsteal.com, but seeing if anyone has ever done something different.

Do you have any friends you could borrow jewelry from? That was going to be my "something borrowed" but that plan fell through, so I bought some cheap stuff. I think it's a good idea, though, even if you are renting something.

I'm renting a gorgeous vintage necklace from adornbrides.com.  They're running a sweepstakes right now where if you enter  you get a $50 discount on your rental....or it was there last week when I did it anyways...

I rented an awesome diamond necklace from bagborrowsteal.com for an event a couple months ago. I got it for $20/week with free overnight shipping because I was a new member. It's really easy to use, too. They provide the return shipping for you so you just tape it over the one they used to send it and give it to the ups guy. Plus, you only get charged for the time you have it...not the time it's in the mail.
