P2, your vodkaness

Strawberry Rhubarb Deliciousness. I had my sister in law email it to me.8 cups rhubarb2 cups sugar2 small boxes strawberry jello (can use sugar free)1/2 cup lemon juice2 quarts water1/2 to 2 cups vodka ( I used 2 1/2 cups, because I was making it for you).Cook rhubarb, water, sugar, and lemon juice until tender (about 10 min). Strain off juice into 3 quart container that has a cover. Add jello to juice while hot. Let juice cook. Discard pulp. Add vodka, if desired, and freeze. (and duh, of course it's desired!) After frozen, scoop into cup and add 7-Up, sierra mist, or Ginger Aie!! Add to a combo that you desire. =)Enjoy!! Love, Kayte

  • OMG. Sounds so delicious. Is it strong enough with 2 cups of Vodka? How much does it make? What's the weather like in Fargo? Is it going to rain in Rushing River this weekend? Will that punch get me good'n'drunk? how do you like your eggs? Have I asked enough questions?

Will that punch get me good'n'drunk? how do you like your eggs? Have I asked enough questions?Well, the one that Kaye and I made was 2.5 cups. If I were to make it for myself to get hammied, I'd probably do 3. It makes quite a bit. Like...probably about an ice cream pail full, I would guess? The less soda you add in, the more strong it is. I drank it at boogie wonderland about 2 weeks ago and got my drink on. The weather in Fargo has been beautiful this week! A little on the chilly side, but not too bad.Naw, it won't rain your on your parade.Yes, it should do the trick. It's delish.Scrambled, with cheese. And no. Never. ;)
