There's nothing wrong with a couple glasses of wine, or any chosen beverage (I went with tequila tonight. I got bit by a spider and I'm feeling terrible, but after a couple double shots it's like "so what?".) As long as you show up to work not hungover and on time, it's all good. I usually save the wine time for when I'm hanging with FMIL. she likes good wines. We bought a bunch of cheap bottles of some from cost plus a few weeks back. It was lovely. All in all Jess, drinking some every day isn't a bad thing if it helps anything. Like I said, as long as it doesn't mess with your everyday life.As for the young lady who just got laid off (Im sorry I don't have your name hon. Remember- double shots) sometimes it's kind of a blessing. When I got laid off, I wasn't even sad. My FI had gotten back from Iraq a week before and i was psyched to get to hang with him for a while. That was an undisguised blessing. But I do hope all goes well for you. Not everyone is happy getting laid off.

After that hellatious hangover last Friday, followed by the mortification of reading my AMA, I won't be drinking for a looooooong time. looooooong, meaning not until this weekend.

Thanks sassy. It hasnt affected my job, I dont feel hungover when I do drink 3 glasses. I figure, I'm 23 and I'll enjoy my body not hating me for drinking on a work night, I'll take advantage of it while it lasts!

I drank a bottle of wine or more every night when I was 23.  Even being only 2 years older if I try that now I get ridiculously sick.  I never thought it was unhealthy though, probably because my roommate at the time was my partner in crime.  FI would give me sideways glances when we moved in together so I cut back.
