We're hosting our own RD and used this wording: Please join M... and M... as they celebrate the eve of their marriage with a rehearsal dinner date time location We're inviting all our extended family to the rehearsal dinner, so for the parents and bridal party, we included a separate note with the invitation (we used the extra RSVP cards that came with the invitation set) telling them a time for the wedding rehearsal and where to meet. We also included a direction card and map since everyone's OOT - if all our guests were local a phone call probably would have sufficed!

We wanted it to be really laid-back and casual, so it said something like "Please join us for the wedding rehearsal of <Bride> and <Groom>, <time> at <place>. Then celebrate with us at the rehearsal dinner! <restaurant name and address>." PIB of a draft, under Paper Stuffs.
