Hello,I was reading the name-change thread below, and I have a question for you. You said they allowed the first-maiden-married at the SS office but not the DMV? Is it a huge deal if they dont' match? My middle initial now won't change when I change my middle name to my maiden name, and my license now only says First Name Middle Initial Last Name (of course, I currently have an IL license, and will be getting a MO license). Do you think I would have any trouble if I do it that way? So you took your new SS card and got a new passport, and then you took that to the DMV to get your new license. I'm sorry if this is repetitive, I just want to avoid any unnecessary frustration. How much did it cost to get a new passport?
