I just got invited to a bachelorette party.   There were several instances of caps, bold, underlining, bold and underlining,  and bold and caps as well as 40 exclamation points  too many.  I thought of P&E and died inside.  This was the gem tacked onto the end of the email.Friend's happiness is my only concern. This party is for her. If you, for any reason, feel like you cannot or will not be able to enjoy yourself and be a positive addition to Roxy's night, please do not come!!! Friend would be happy to celebrate with you in some other way at some other time. Bachelorette parties are not for everyone. I have worked hard to make this an event I believe you all will enjoy, but one foul mood can ruin a whole night!!! Please don't be the one to ruin Friend's night!! As I have mentioned before this whole wedding process had been especially difficult for her and she NEEDS a good night out with the girls.Kill me.

this whole wedding process had been especially difficult for herYes, because I'm sure she's the only person who has planned a wedding.  Ever.This is as annoying as my SIL was when she was pregnant.  Now, I've never had a baby, but still.  She acted all 'woe is me' like she was the first person to ever be knocked up.

WOW, that's kind of extreme. I'm going to a bachelorette for a friend next Saturday and received this lovely facebook message: "We are all wearing plaid shirts and jeans- feel free to accesorize your own way, Oh and don't forget to bring a naughty gift for the bride".Not sure yet if I will play along and wear what I'm told.

People don't get it, I'm not in a foul mood at all until someone says that ^ to me. Have bridesmaids, siblings, friends been acting biitchy to her lately? What the heck prompted this anyway? Do you know?

Well her dad died a few months ago, which was really sad.  Most recently there have been massive issues with the BM dresses because two came back brown with pink sashes but two came back all pink.  She needed them all to match.

I still don't understand how that led to that part of the e-mail. Seriously? I'm assuming everyone invited already knows all of that, so unless she thinks everyone on the guest list is a horrible person and is going to badger the bride-to-be who's father recently passed on purpose, there really was no reason for that. If she does think that, well then I'm going to assume she's maybe not too bright.

That's awful about her dad, but the BM dress thing is crap.  Who the eff cares?  If they were wrong sizes and unwearable, then I could understand, but honestly.  I would think that in light of her father passing, she might realize that the insignificance of freakin' dresses.

So you're bringing the pom poms?Yeah, I can understand why you shouldn't attend if you have a bad attitude, but who says yes if they don't want to go?  That kind of statement is about as obvious as saying, "We're going to leave in my car at 6, so PLEASE make sure you pee first so we leave on time!!!!!!ONE!!"  Duh!

My moh put in the invite "we are meeting at the pier at 5:30, the boat leaves at 6 so please be there early to board". Damned if 4 of my friends call at 5:55 saying they were 10 minutes away and could we hold the boat.I wonder which friend was bitching about the cost of the bparty or what they were doing. I can see it now "omg I can't believe you are planning on doing that. I'll show up but ugh..."
