Emergency kit for day of wedding

I'm curious what necessities and just in case items you're packing for the day.Some of mine are: tide pen, deodorant, safety pins, translucent powder,  eyelash glue, band-aids, Advil, bobby pins...

Clear nailpolish is good if you're worried about runs in pantyhose.

I did not have one.One of my SIL always has a sewing kit with her, so I knew that would be taken care of.

I don't think I actually did bring anything. I figured if there was an emergency, the venue's bridal attendant would find something to fix it. Besides, I go out all the time without needing all that stuff; I didn't figure the wedding would be any different & it wasn't. But for those who don't have that sort of setup, I could see wanting a few things like clear nail polish & safety pins. I did once have to safety pin a friend's dress closed when the zipper broke at our high school prom. Come to think of it, she was one of my bridesmaids!

I think you've got all the important ones. I also brought a sewing kit, but the only things I ended up using were deodorant and bobby pins. Definitely bring safety pins, my friends bustle loop thingys broke at her wedding, so she had to use like 4 safety pins to pin it up so she wouldn't step on it. Her poor dress got put through a lot

Bring a sewing kit....Also the tide pen I had didn't work too well...Wipes were also very useful.

Oh, btw - I used Dove Clinical for deodorant and didn't need any redo despite the fact that I can sweat (TMI, I know) and the fact that I was wearing a 400 lb dress. That stuff ROCKS. I've switched over to it for daily wear.

larissa, does the Dove Clinical go on clear or white? i'm using the Dove Clear right now and i find that it doesn't work as well for me.

It goes on clear. And it's MUCH better than the regular Dove varieties, which don't always last all day for me.

Tic tacs!I also think shout wipes work better than tide pen.

Even better than tic tacs - have you ever tried the Listerine strips? They hurt your tongue a little, but man is that MINT. Mint with a capital MINT.

Gonna go get some right now, larissa. Yeah, the Dove Clear needs another application in about 6 hours for me.  Shout wipes...Going to track those down, too.

I didn't even know about the Shout wipes. I carry a Tide pen in my purse at all times, but maybe I'll switch over if the wipes fit. Never know when one's going to have an unfortunate incident with tomato sauce.

I also prefer shout wipes to tide pens, I don't go anywhere without them.

Definitely agree with the safety pins. I wore a halter dress, and the hook that held it up broke midway through the reception! I was really glad my venue had safety pins, otherwise I would have been out for the evening.

I'd probably put some tums and some pink bismuth tablets in there too.

Maybe the Colgate Wisp disposable toothbrush.  I haven't personally used them but I hear they are very minty.
