I just popped by the churh today to pick up wedding information with forms to fill out to reserve the church, etc. There are several pastors at our christian church and it is my responsibility to arrange which pastor is available, willing, etc. to perform our ceremony. None of the pastors were available when I did my pop in. Is it inappropriate for me to ask an officiant to perform our wedding ceremony via email?
