Hair and Makeup in Staten Island

I had the most awful experience at my first trial with the hair and makeup group in Staten Island. I brought pictures, told them what I wanted and I pretty much threw away a hundred dollars. I was considering going to my normal stylist who I have been going to for years, but she kind of turned me off when she told me the price and is being really greedy. Anyone have any information on House of Trends or Beau Beautiful? I don't want overly done orange makeup with purple eyeshadow like I got and hopefully someone who can take direction as to what I want.

    I am using Bea in 2 weeks.  She's wonderful and now does my cuts and colors too.  She's generally booked way in advance but is fabulous.  My trial went perfectly.  The makeup was completely natural as well as the hair.  She's working out of G's Salon on N. Railroad ave now.

    Good to hear.  I have a makeup trial scheduled with her in a few weeks too, as my friend who was in a bridal party used her.  I just wanted some more feedback on her. After my last trial, I'm just nervous lol and don't feel like wasting any more money.

    I don't blame you one bit.  She really does know what she's doing and I swear my makeup is natural.  I can send u pics of the trial if you want.  What's your email?

    I just got married on September 6 and the Ashley Taylor salon by the mall did hair and makeup for myself, all my girls, and my mom and mother-in-law.  They did an amazing job and everyone looked amazing. Let me know if you want their information and if you want to see pictures.

    Hey girls, Would you mind sending me Bea's contact info? I am looking for someone for makeup. I dont wear much, so something natural looking would be perfect!!

    Did she travel to your house or does she only work at the salon? Also, around how much does she charge for makeup?
