I had such a wonderful day and I don't think I could be be any happier. In the end, our guests raved about 1. the ceremony, 2. the food, 3. our first dance, and 4. our video from the videographers. Which is awesome because those were the exact things that were important to us! Wow, congrats! You looked so beautiful, that dress looks like it was made for you. I also agree that your DH is quite the looker;) The henna is very cool. Is that just something you wanted to do or is there some kind of deeper significance? (please excuse my ignorance here...)

Thank you all!!Someone noted that we actually have a very similar profile - you can sort of see it in the pic where he's kissing my forehead. I never noticed that before. I guess this means our behbeh's will have our nose?Dani - the dance was so much fun. My roommate from undergrad and her boyfriend choreographed and taught it to us and recorded a full video. I know she's going to send it to me and I'm hoping that it'll be youtubed or something. It was 10x better than any of our practices, I think the energy of the crowd really brought it out.bombtones - I'll definitely pass on your message to mah hubby!

julie - the henna is an Indian tradition, so since my hubby is Indian, I thought I'd do it to honour his heritage. The stain lasts for a couple of weeks and the belief is that the longer it lasts, the longer your marriage will be. I didn't do the full bridal henna because that looks best with a sari, which I didn't get, but people loved the little touch that I did have.
