Well, I think the Church is outdated and needs to get the memo that marriage isn't just so that people can make babies anymore. People make babies all the time without being married. People get married all the time and never have children. The world is still turning and the sun is still shining.I guess this is why I'm not Catholic.

I dunno.  My ex husband got a catholic annulment and there was no fraud in the marriage.We are legally divorced, but he needed a church annulment to get married to a good catholic girl in the church.

How would you even remember who gave you what? I wrote everything down for the thank you cards, but 2 or 3 months after I sent the cards, I threw away the list. Plus would you really want a used skillet/mixer/sheets/candles whatever returned to you??

But the person wanting the annulment could easily say "oh she/he knew she/he was infertile and didn't say anything" even if the person really didn't know.
