My "aunt" sent me this little gem this morning.... "Am I allowed to bring a date to the wedding? Maybe just brunch if not the wedding? Not even sure if he can make it." I already told her that she couldn't bring one. Her ex and her always try to "one up" each other. I sat her with her son to keep her company. The wedding is 2 weeks away. So rude.

I might want to add that the guy that she was trying to bring/convince me to bring is a felon. At least, that's what she told me. lol

Well at least she asked- I have three people already now who have taken it upon themselves to RSVP for themselves as well as a guest when a guest not even invited....  grrr.

Ooooo!! Pick ME!!My aunt FLIPPED out on my mother for assuming she could bring her bf (who she lives with BTW). And sat me down and had one of those even-though-this-is-your- wedding-I'm-making-the-rules speeches where she informed me that I was not obligated to let ANYONE bring a date. A little while later she found out I was inviting her ex-husband (who my fiance and I are actually really close to, and who has already been asked not to bring a date just to keep the peace). Now guess who's INSISTING they get to bring a date.....ya awesome.
