PIP: Dress! I Bought One!

I pulled the trigger!  My mom is in town and we went shopping.  She and I both love it.   It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I think it was worth it.  As some of you know, I've been losing weight.  I was told I could go down 3 sizes, so the little pooch will (hopefully) be less pronounced.Sorry if the pics come out huge.  But, I'm interested to know your opinions!

It's a gorgeous dress! i would just make sure that they take the top in a little bit so the girls stay put and there isn't any gaping, but you look great!

I love the rouching (sp?) in the back. So pretty with the bubble hem! Once it's altered, it's going to be magnificent! Just make sure they keep your boobs supported. It's so pretty with your skin tone. I'm jealous you can wear white. I look like death on a cracker. Congrats! Yay new dress!

It looks kind of big. Im sure it will be beautiful when it fits you like a glove and its pressed.  The back is really pretty too, very flattering on your waist line.  I love roushing. (sp)

Is that a Mori Lee?  It is VERY similar to the dress I wore for my wedding.  This of course makes me partial to automatically LOVING the dress.    I had the same problem with my dress, it was pretty big, but the detail in the top looks so flattering when the alterations are complete.  Great pick! If you'd like I'll email you pictures of my dress so you can see what all the detailing in that style look like completely altered.  (mine is not strapless, but everything else looks pretty identical with the crystals and all of that)  Stackeye210 at msn dot com

I love bubble hems! They're so much fun. It looks beautiful on you. Is that an Allure gown? The back of it reminds me a lot of a dress that was one of my top contenders. Congrats on the gown purchase.

I love it, I love the back, and I especially love how the style of the dress really shows your waist. I always feel extra thin when I feel like my waist is defined.

Did you already place an order?My shop suggested the 6 month mark was the latest to order, so I went back and got measured then, and then ordered a size down from that. If I had ordered when I first tried it on, it would already be 2 sizes too big for me!Keep up the awesome work!

Bomb, yeah I ordered it yesterday.  We ordered the dress a size smaller.  I was told they would perform the alterations about 10 weeks prior to the wedding date.  I can go down 3 sizes and still be okay. Thanks!
