Yeah it is. I used to think it was just people who were overly tidy. I've seen people on these shows who pick hair out of their face. There's a girl who pulls hair out of her head on tonight.

Tonight there is a mom that yells at her daughter to get off the stage because the music didnt start. And it seems like she gets mad at the judges because of the music ordeal. And for some reason they have to get all new judges in the middle of it. Its a good night.

Not all people with OCD are like these people, they are the extremists. I have a mild form, but nothing like the people on this show.I am foregoing Toddlers and Tiaras for Top Chef!

I just turned it on.  Random: Did anyone see the episode of True Life I have OCD?   That was crazy to watch too, but one of the girls on there I'm 80% sure didn't actually have OCD.  The people on there did way different stuff than the people on this show, too.  I'm assuming it's different for everyone though.

I didn't catch the True Life one, what rituals did that girl have?Mine are weird like spelling things that I say, counting everything that I do and arranging everything by size and color/theme. But I'm a mathematician, so it works out.

I don't think they did. But I have a random story.... my friend dated her brother (the one that was suspected of killing her for awhile).

Was that episode about a girl who would turn circles randomly when she was walking? If it was, I kind of think that she was over-exaggerating a little. I have this thing where I type out words in my head. I stop once I catch myself doing it but its weird.

The only ritual that I remember her having was touching the top right corner of her door every time she went inside her apartment.  But the reason I wasn't convinced wasn't the rituals, it was just because she went to like 2 total therapy sessions and was magically cured forever. Her rituals didn't develop until she was like 15 (not sure if that's common or not), she went to therapy when she was like 20, and was suddenly fine.

Yeah I'd like to meet that therapist. . .  While therapy can help, I don't think you can ever really cure it. Mine started when I was in middle school sometime and I think thats pretty common for certain types.I more or less pronounce words and then spell them, but its only ones I like the sound of or have letter combinations that are interesting, ok you guys can call me weird if you want, I've accepted it, lol.

I don't have OCD as far as I know, but I do this weird thing where when I'm walking I have to walk to the "beat" of the words I'm saying or thinking. Like i almost make whatever I'm thinking into a rhythmic poem and have to walk on a beat. Forget it if I have a song stuck in my head.  I repeat the same chorus line or set of lyrics over and over again walking to that beat.

I do the same thing, tlv. I also like to line my cards up just so while playing solitaire. My sister used to torture me by constantly reaching over and messing them up slightly.
