  • We used TK's tipping cheat sheet and pretty much did exactly what it said. All our vendors seemed really appreciative, so that was good.http://wedding.theknot.com/wedding-planning/wedding-budget/articles/wedding-vendor-tipping-cheat-sheet.aspx
  • I have a bridal mag and it details who to tip, how much, etc. One of the tips it gave is that you don't need to tip anyone that owns the business and is doing the work. Example: our photographer owns the company (a woman and her husband) - therefore, we don't have to tip her. She is already being well compensated for her time. If you are paying a company that is hiring employees to do the work, however, you should tip the employees.

  • How about WHEN do you tip? Similar to a pp I'm concerned about my venue (who is also doing the catering). They've recently gone through some staffing changes and my coordinator isn't the same person who was coordinating when I signed the agreement. The new coordinator has been somewhat rude and not at all helpful. They will be sending a bar bill a few weeks after the wedding, should I wait until then to tip if I even feel it is necessary?
  • I don't know, but I LOVE your dress!
  • I love your dress too!  I have the same one (but had a different flower made).
