WR Colors and Season

Since it's slow, I've been over-thinking this for a while now. Our wedding is next June in a rural community. The reception will be formal-ish. We will be having a dinner, but we will also be roasting smores at the end of the night. We had originally planned a fall wedding, but summer works better for our schedules. Our colors are black, white, and red. Will this be way too out of synch with the season?

I don't think your colors have to match the season. Just pick colors you like!

I think you should pick your colors because you like them no matter when you get married. Unless you use orange and black or red and green.

I dont think colors are seasonal, wedding wise. There are a lot of ways you can do this and make it work. Go for it.

I think it sounds fine. In fact when you mentioned those colors I though of bif red poppys which seems summery to me.

No. Just use what you want. Our August wedding was mainly chocolate brown and looked great :-) (although, some people kept telling me it was "too fall" when I was planning)

You can use any colors you like. Black and white weddings are very common these days, and go with any season, no matter what accent color you pair it with. So IMO, the colors are fine, but I think the S'mores are totally out of place for a formal-ish wedding. They are MESSY! They are more for a casual, outdoorsy event, and better over an actual bonfire or campfire. And that means everyone will smell like SMOKE! If I were a guest, or someone wearing a rented tux or formal-ish clothing, I wouldn't go anywhere near that with a 10 ft. pole! Why don't you do them for the rehearsal dinner?
