I have a friend that kept her name when they got married.I do not know her hubby's last name.Should I just write "Mrs. Jones" on her inviite?I can't really do Mr and Mrs...because that's not her name and I don't even know what his is.  TIA!!!

    She's not Mrs. anything if she kept her name. She is Ms. And you need to call and find out the husband's last name.

    NO!You need to find out what her husband's last name is.  If she kept her maiden name then she most likely prefers Ms. and NOT Mrs (however ask).  The way I addressed our friends where the woman kept her last name:Ms. Jane Jones and Mr. Robert SmithTake the time to find his name now.   Anything less than that and you run the risk of offending your friend.
