*mscutieri* RE: Envelope liners

I missed your page when I was OOT this weekend, but below are the steps I took to make the envelope liners for my invites: I traced the flap of my envelope onto white paper, then came in .5" from each edge and drew a straight line. I scanned that in and took my photo into Photoshop and used the outline of the flap as a selection, deleting the inverse. You could also just add the outline to your photo, and cut along that line rather than deleting/cropping. I made sure the photo would extend 2-2.5" below the envelope edge, and printed all of them out. Cut along the edge, place .5" below the edge of your flap, and secure with a glue stick. I pressed them flat between two heavy books so that they wouldn't dry wrinkled from the glue stick. Hope that helps!

  • And girlie, they were GORGEOUS. I am envious. I see why you do what you do now! You should be made Queen of your office :)

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • Aw, thanks Missy! I really thought they were going to be the death of me. It's true what they say: You can design for anyone but yourself. I put WAY too much pressure on myself for something that would just be thrown away, but 80% of my guestlist are designers. They won't throw it away. We keep everything! LOL
