Bridal Shower question!!

I have been in squabble with a few people over this and would love to get some opinions of what you all think.  My mom received a bridal shower invitation and in the invite were a few cards.  One to pay for the honeymoon, one to pay for the videographer and one for the actual store she registered at.  I agree with the honeymoon and the store gifts but I find it very rude for someone to request for a guest of the wedding to pay towards the videographer.  In my opinion if you can't afford to have one you don't get one.  Feedback would be great!!  Thanks

my SIL did a photography registry.  it was all marketed cute like "buy a page of their album and give them a lasting gift of their day".  i was mortified and thought this was so ill mannered.  especially knowing all of the crap she's wasting money on, she could well afford her own damn album if she cut out her extras.

Thank you all for your responses.  I was told I was just bashin the bride because i didn't like her.   That might have something to do with her wanting me to reimburse her for the money she paid for my bridal shower and the dress she paid to wear in my wedding after she chose not to be in it.   I thought it was tacky and looks like most of you agree.  Thanks again!

Oh and I'd like to add she put on the card for the honeymoon that donations are being accepted at 25 dollars or more and they have a deadline as when it needs to be paid.  OMG it keeps getting better!!
