Envelope printing help?

Anyone want to tell me, in computer moron's terms, how to print addresses on a 9x12 envelope?

  • I ruined way too many envelopes while attempting to print on them, so I resorted to handwriting all 80 of them. Bah.

  • I'm just trying to print them for job apps.  It looks so much  nicer and more professional than handwriting, but 9x12s won't fit in my printer.  So I guess it's off to the store for labels.  Now those I know how to print!  How's your job search going, gg?

  • Pretty good I suppose. I'm finding a lot I'm interested in and applying for those, but haven't heard back from many. I do have an interview tomorrow, so I hope that the job works out. Ya know, I always write out the address because I feel like it makes them more personal, but it's also unprofessional I suppose. Oops! How's your search going?

  • printing on envelopes has become the bane of my existence - so I'm glad you figured it out.
  • Yeah, I was going to write them, and debated it, but my handwriting sucks, and I didn't want them to judge me based on it.  It seems paranoid, but my job search is sucking hardcore, so I'm thinking about everything waaaay too hard.I just got a rejection from the job that I was most qualified for out of all the ones I've applied to.  No interview or anything.  It sucks. Good luck at your interview, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

  • Even though rejection letters/emails suck, I appreciate it when they let me know that I didn't get the job. Most jobs I've applied to don't even bother, so I'm grateful when I hear back from them even if it's bad news for me.I have had two 2nd interviews this summer, but no luck getting an offer. Last summer I interviewed a few times and was offered all 4 jobs that I interviewed for, but this year I'm sucking. I have a personal connection to the job I'm interviewing for tomorrow (& related experience), so I am going to milk that. Gah, I'm getting tired of having to depend on DH.Good luck with your search too!

  • I know exactly how you feel!  Sounds like that would be a great job for you :)

  • I was originally going to say "I'm sorry to hear that" in reference to you not getting the job, but I know how much I want to punch people when they say that to me, so I refrained. :) That + the pity face when I tell them I'm job searching. Ugh.I think it'd be a great job for me too. We'll see how it goes.

  • Yeah, everyone someone says it to me, I hear it in my mom's condescending tone of voice (she thinks I should have gone back to school like the original plan was), so thanks for holding back ;)  I finally had to tell her to stop asking and I'd let her know if anything changed because she asked like every day how job searching was going and it started to make me crazy!

  • People ask me all the time, and yesterday when I saw my aunt she said "Get a job!" when she hugged me goodbye. Smack! I told her I'm trying. Every day. Really hard. My brother is on my case about it too. The only one who ISN'T is DH because he knows how hard I'm trying.
