Extra thank you cards

As my bridesmaid gifted me with a pack of thank you cards at my bridal shower I have more thank you cards then I know what to do with.  So perhaps I shall use them for every day things like so:Dear kitty,Thank you for the large hairball.  As you know I am not a morning person but with your morning wails and the hair ball placed directly in the path to the bathroom I find I no longer need my morning cup of joe.  Your timing was perfect as the hairball had just enough time to cool but still was moist enough to soak my foot.  Thank you for thinking of me.Love,SolAny other thank you cards?

  • Oh gross. I've done that with puppy pee.  Mia leaves me little puddles as she walks around the house.  Thank God for tile floors! I use Thank You cards kinda often so I don't mind having a stash. Also, if you haven't bought TY cards for your wedding, start using those.  I don't think it's a necessity for them to match your invitations.
  • Dear Bad Eyesight, I want to thank you so much for your near-sightedness and your feeble attempts to differentiate between black work slacks and navy work slacks.  Thank you for enabling me to hobble into work with navy blue pants, a yellow sweater and black pumps.  I look so awesomely mismatched that I will no doubt hide behind my desk today and hope that no one, but no one attempts to talk to me.  This day can get no better. Sincerely,Cacoffer
  • Dear Tractor,Thank you for driving 15 mph on a highway that has 55 speed limit and for being so wide that there was no way I could pass you. Not only did you make me late for work, but you prevented me from getting coffee. So now I have to work late to make up the time without caffeine. That was really thoughtful of you.Warmly,Smasher
  • Ha!You'll be surprised how quickly you go through TY cards.  I found myself making repeated trips to Target or local gift stores to get more note cards.  Between the e-party, two showers and the wedding gifts, we went through a TON.I also can't believe the amount of money we spent on stamps two years ago.  I think the wedding industry keeps the USPS in business!
