You had said the other day that you had a 12 year old and a 7 year old that wanted to see the movie 9 - I probably wouldn't suggest it...at least for the 7 year old. It's really not that violent/graphic...but you do see side profiles of dead bodies and there were a few things that made me jump a little out of surprise more than fear. I think the 12 year old would be alright, but even that I think would be a bit of a judgment call. It was really good though...and a beautiful move just to look at...very well done. I do have to say there were 2 kids behind us in the theater that looked to be probably 10-12ish and they were fine throughout the whole thing but I did hear the mom tell one of them to turn their head at one part.Hope that helps.
