Bridesmaid Dress Help

OK, so when my wedding dress came into the dress store 3 weeks ago, it was a) six sizes to small b) not properly measured hollow to hem c) the wrong color.  UGHH.  They were supposed to have a new one delivered to the dealer by 9/3 and then overnighted to me.  They didn't.  They are delivering ground.... I'm over it.  I guess it should be here Monday... we'll see.Now my bridesmaid dresses were "ordered" April 6th.   By ordered I mean that is when the last bridesmaid was measured, and all but one girl had paid in full.   That being said it has now been 24 weeks since the bridesmaid dresses have been ordered.  While I understand that sometimes vendors work based on due date, and that there are still 8 weeks until my wedding, I feel like this is a ridiculously long time for this to take.  Also I had been quoted a delivery date of July 31st, and the manufacturer (BARI JAY) on their website suggests a 10-12 week delivery period.  The retailer just tells me to "wait" and that they will be in soon.  Has anyone had any recent experience with Bari Jay dresses and the length of time to get them in, or suggestions on any way to contact Bari Jay directly to find out about the status of my order?

Did the shop confirm that the BM dresses have actually been ordered?  When you said they were ordered but then said that just means the last girl was measured but one still had to pay, I wouldn't call that ordered.  I bet they waited to order until the last girl paid, in fact I would almost guarantee they did.  Have you confirmed when exactly she paid and when exactly the order was placed?

What I meant to say was...  It was 60% down when they got measured, all but one girl put 100% down so they wouldn't have to worry about it later.  I was "told" the order would be placed the next morning.

Well most won't place the order until they are paid, so your first step should be contacting the shop asap and getting confirmation that they were in fact ordered, on what date, and an order number or confirmation number.

I have asked them 3-4 times what the status of the order is, and her words every time are "don't worry honey Bari Jay is just swamped with orders, they are running behind".Do you think if I get the order cofirmation # etc, I will be able to contact Bari Jay directly.The store policy is 60% at order, 40% at pickup, so I know the one bridesmaid not paying in full is the issue.
