that sucks (and funny at the same time).  We have a semi-auto closing one.  DH just has to pull it towards him and then it will close quietly on it's one. He grew up with his Mom and 2 sisters, he is good about not leaving it up.

It is worse.I also peed the bed once because FI tickled me when I begged him not to - first thing in the a.m. with a full bladder. He will never make that mistake again.
