not married yet

How do you address an envelope to people that are not married when you send the invite, but will be by the time of the wedding? Mrs. Jane Doe and Mr. John Travis?  or Mr. and Mrs. John Travis?Thanks for the help.

  • I don't think that's right, NQB.  I thought "and" signified that a couple was married, which they won't be at the time it's sent.  You should go alphabetically by last name, so in this case, I think it's: Ms. Jane DoeMr. John Travis123 StreetEtc, etc 12345
