Lame-o Saturday?

Re: Lame-o Saturday?

  • The attorney was really great.  Not going to lie, he sounded kind of hot on the phone.  Too bad the pic on his site showed a middle aged man with white hair.  We still had a lot of fun though.  When the client was on the stand, I had to take notes of everything he was lying about and show it.  The attorney then questioned him about it.
  • Yeah, I felt bad at first when I chuckled but so did everyone else in the room- his wife, the other attorney from our firm, the stenographer lady(who really just records everything), the clerk, and the judge, all laughed.  He is lucky that each case gets their own room.
  • Thanks Brie - google will be my friend when I get a bunch of apples I suppose :).  FI's aunt and uncle have a farm so at some point this fall I will probably get a bunch of free apples.  I'm waiting til then to make apple sauce.
  • I just got home from Fashion Week. One of the shows was really freaking gorgeous. Of course, nothing I could ever afford. Now, I"m going to have some tea and pick up the apt b/c we have friends coming over for brunch tomorrow.
  • I usually have super lame Saturday's.  All of my friends have boyfriends out of town, so that is where they go Friday-Sunday night.  Right now I am watching House of a Thousand Corpses...followed by Devil's Rejects, and if I am feeling extra lame, possibly Return to Oz...laugh at will.

  • I am drowning my sorrows in delicious brownies while dh plays video games. Our house inspection sucked and now we're back to square one (find a house) instead of closing :(The only possible plus is a gorgeous house came on the market this afternoon that we're going to see tomorrow. Maybe this is the one?
