The call against Serena was total bullshiit just now.  Let Kim win by match point, not default.  Too bad Serena was heated.  At the match tomorrow, I have to root for who ever the opponent is.  I can't root for anyone who didn't win by match point.

i just saw the video. i can see getting pissed at the call and even cussing out the official, but she went on & on...and on. i wish i could have caught it w/ the audio though.

I feel bad for Kim and how she won.  I like her being the older one there and working hard.  If the line up was different and Serena could have played Kim for the final, it would have been nice.

They have the audio and you could hear everything.  They are blocking the sound on replays.  It is kind of bullshiit especially when other players curse in their language.

my husband and i are nerds and were listening to the match online b/c none of our channels are showing it tonight. does anyone have a link to the video of the incident?

Both Williams sisters are sore losers, always have been. Super talented athletes, but sore losers.  Sore winners too for that matter.  Rules are rules and she foot faulted, should they over look it just because of the timing?

She would have been fine the first time she yelled at the line judge. The guy in the chair only asked what was going on when she went back AGAIN to yell some more. Sore loser. Ugly way for Kim to win, but a point penalty is a point penalty.

She definitely did foot fault there, the call was good and they have to uphold the rules. Unsportsmanlike conduct = point penalty. They can't choose not to penalize her because it happens to be match point and really, with behaviour like that she brought it on herself.
