Engagement Photo Session

Tomorrow we are having our engagement photo session at a local college - will have most of the shots taken outside. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions for these photos? I have my outfit picked out and I love it. I'm just mainly thinking of makeup. I have almost every kind of makeup in almost every color you can think of (I sell Mary Kay) but one thing I don't have that I wish I did have was a face primer that I have heard about? Something to help fill out lines and etc in the face. Anyway - any suggestions or tips? Thanks!! I appreciate all the help!

The main key is that you should look like yourself. Don't overdo your makeup or wear something that isn't representative of YOU. You want your engagement photos to be natural - don't feel like you have to get into costume, or do lots of makeup unless that's what you normally wear. Our photog's advice to us:- DON'T match your clothes- Avoid whites or really pale colors - darks (grays, dark blues, blacks) look best- If you normally wear jeans and flip flops, wear jeans and flip flops. Feel free to get dressed up, but don't wear something you wouldn't normally wear. - Avoid huge patterns (big stripes, polka dots, etc.)- Be yourself
