I saw you were looking at wedding venues in Newport with a friend in the other thread--whereabouts?  If you FB stalk me, my friend's wedding was at Regatta Place in July and I took TONS of pictures.  It was a gorgeous venue and she raves about them.

Brie you are kidding me right? That is where my college roommate is getting married next July. She is getting married to Mike's college roommate so it is a really special wedding for us. We were looking at rehearsal dinner places with them. I am heading off to fb stalk your friends wedding there RIGHT now. Does she have a link to pro pics you wouldn't mind sharing? Did she gets married there or at a church in the area?MOH's sister got married at Belle Mer across the street. Also gorgeous. My grad school friend just got engaged so she was with us today today too. Where did you friend have her RD?Sorry this post is total stream of consciousness. I just got really excited about this!!

The wedding was at St. Sebastian in Providence, and the reception was at Regatta Place (obviously).  RD was at the groom's parents' house in Providence.Nope, she's one of my BM and best friends.  She absolutely loved it and it was a great venue, aside from the farking Newport traffic on a Saturday and the drive between the two locations.  She had a waiter following her around doing whatever she wanted, getting her drinks, etc, the whole night.  Apparently they're a newer venue, so she said they're desperate for good reviews and really go the extra mile.  As a guest, the apps were great, the bar was great, but the dinner was pretty standard wedding food.  The location made up for it, though, just because it was so gorgeous.I will FB message you the link to her pro pics in a minute!

I am running to dinner but I just peeked at them and they are SO gorgeous. Let's talk soon about this though! Shoot me a fb message if you want to keep any of the stuff private. Let me know if you have any recs about what food they should have Thanks doll!
