Shower thank you not etiquette

I just had my shower on Saturday and wanted to get started on my thank you notes. If I recieved a gift from a mother and her three adult daughters (who all live seperately) do I send one thank you note? Or do I send one to each person who gave the gift? Thanks in advance.

Etiquette says you should send a separate note to each person, but use common sense too.

I would send one to each person since they live apart.  They don't need to be extravagant.. just a quick thank you.

If they live in different places then send notes to where they live.

Send 4 thank yous 1 to each address and each person

One per person.  It seems like common sense to me.
