The week before your wedding

Did it go by really quickly, or seem to drag on?

It was about the same as always. I took the whole week off so that we could visit all the people coming into town. All projects were done in the beginning of the week.I enjoyed that time.

I think it went by about the same as a normal week.  It didn't really drag, but I can't say it flew by either.  It wasn't bad, though.

ours was normal pace.  Our wedding was OOT so we not home doing normal stuff either.  We were basically on vacation socializing every day and night.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

Probably depends on how much you have left to do. Mine will probably fly 'cause I have so much to do before rehearsal Friday.

I don't really have much - I'm working until mid-day thursday, and the only things I have left are printing our programs and escort cards.   And wrappign the BM gifts, but nothing too stressful

Mine went super fast. We got married on a Friday, though, which made it go super super fast.

Work always seems to drag when I have something to look forward to, whether that be a vacation, a party, or something I'm dreading.  I worked right up until the day before the wedding, so for me that week went really slowly.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

Mine went way to quick. I was only planning on taking the two days off before the wedding. However I ended up having to be home for three days as they were doing some repair work at our rental and I needed to be there for it.  So I was scrambling to get all my last minute errands done in the evening and day before.  I was a mess the day before and morning of our wedding.Plan on having 2-3x more time then you think you need!

My wedding was on Saturday and I only worked two days last week.  It seemed to go really fast at the time, but in retrospect last week was one of the longest of my life.  Great, but long.

I don't remember anything about that week until that Wednesday when one of our friends came in from FL and my SIL/BM had her baby a month early.  The rest of the week and weekend from there flew by.

Mine went about the same as normal. I only took off Friday (and that only because I had to finish the wedding cake), so it was "business as usual."

It went by pretty quickly. I didn't have much left to do, but I did have someone coming from OOT or someone else to see just about every day that week.

Yep, Saturday at noon.  It still doesn't feel like it's actually happening yet.

Monday-Tuesday time stopped.  Wednesday was my last day at work, and got a surprise shower at work, so that was fun.  Thursday-Friday flew by, as OOT family arrived and we had the RD on Friday.  Saturday (wedding day) seemed like it was only 3 hours long.

Time felt like it just stopped until I flew out to the location three days before the wedding. As soon as I got there time flew.
