    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    FI just told me that. I like Hank, when he can manage to hang on to the ball! But I still don't get why they would bring on Garcia and still start Kolb. He's far more consistent, and at least doesn't turn the ball over every 2.5 seconds

    They did not have a choice.  If McNabb can't play they have no backup after Kolb. If Kolb gets hurt we are SOL.On week 3 we will have one hell of a QB lineup.  Although Garcia will most likely be gone again.

    I know. And honestly, I think it has at least a little bit to do with damage control. With Kolb as our only option, there is very little chance at winning a game. He can't even hand the ball off properly! At least now Reid can pull him if he needs to. But if I was Hank Baskett, I'd be pissed.

    I think it's the last year of Hank's contract, so he might be the easiest to trade without losing a lot of money.

    He just signed a one year deal in the spring. They apparently would rather get rid of Reggie Brown, but nobody wants him.

    the eagles board is calling for a bunch of players to be traded/let go. Gibson and Brown are up there along with Hank.    It will be a long week.  Until they get rid of someone Garcia is listed as inactive.

    Hank played yesterday.  Only had a catch or 2, but he is playing.

    lynda, I agree it will be a long week. No matter what they do, people will be unhappy (unless, of course, they got rid of Kolb!) I do not have faith in the front office's decision making capabilities. Joe Banner is fired.

    hey guys, I didn't get to see this till this morning!  But I LOVE Garcia.  I am so freaking happy!!!!  Kolb is horrible, who knows if Vick will be up to par.  I have to agree about Hank, he really is not that bad...when he is healthy.  But I think because his contract is almost up, we need to get a new WR in there.  We have always been pretty weak with WRs and always relied on Westbrook, who is my FAV!  I read that we tried to get Feely back and he already signed with Carolina.  I though Garcia signed with Oakland but I guess they let him go after training camp.  Did we sign him just for 1 year or more, anybody know?
