  • Do you have any? YES If so, who is it with? NOT SURE, GOOD QUESTION Do you pay for it yourself or through your company and/or FI/DH's company? DH pays an annual supplement to have me on it. If you pay for it yourself how much is it costing you? (If you don't mind me asking) OUR COST is about $1,000 a year. Yes, A YEAR, to have me added to his coverage through work. And it pays for anything and everything - maternity, etc. This is one of the perks of living in Mexico - since there's a free national system it brings the costs of private insurance way down. We have access to incredible, internationally-certified private hospitals and doctors, too. It's really quite fabulous. Okay, so that was a plug for national health care ;)
  • I do not.Eventually I will have Tricare. It'll be through the military, thus the government, I guess. I have no idea what it will cost when I do have it, but I have looked into paying for it for myself right now and we're going to have to hold off a bit longer.
On bed rest since Groundhog's Day and every day since has been exactly the same.

  • Do you have any? Yes.If so, who is it with? Anthem BlueCross/Blue ShieldDo you pay for it yourself or through your company and/or FI/DH's company? Through my employer. If you pay for it yourself how much is it costing you? (If you don't mind me asking) I don't even know since it's taken directly out of payroll.  Both me and my son are covered.  FI is covered under his own plan.
  • I do, Consolidated Health Plans, through my university. For a funded grad student like me, it's $500 for the year, but I have a feeling that it probably doesn't cover anything other than nosebleeds. If I have a real problem, I think I will be in trouble.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • No. My employer doesn't offer it and I can't currently afford it. If huge medical things come up my parents are kind enough to help me with them.
  • Do you have any?  YesIf so, who is it with? AtenaDo you pay for it yourself or through your company and/or FI/DH's company?  DH and I work for the same company and it's through there. If you pay for it yourself how much is it costing you? (If you don't mind me asking) the company pays 100% of the premium of an employee so that is free for us - yay..  We do have co-pays and deductibles and a 80/20 split on certain procedures.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Yes. Tonik. I pay for it myself. $225/month.
