I just saw your post about the shiner.  I had a huge, ugly bruise on my arm three weeks before my wedding and I was freaking out.  I posted about it and got some great advice.  You should take a look at it.  I used arnica cream for the most part (and it was completely gone within 9 days), but I'm not sure you should put that near your eye.  However, the other pieces of advice I got were great too.

Thanks vic! I'm sure it will be gone by the wedding. I'm going to visit my clinique counter today or tomorrow and grab some of the stuff mentioned in my thread. I have also promised FI I will not touch another power tool until November.

That's adorable Vogt! I wish I had $95 to blow on it. I've been searching eBay for vintage owl figurines that are mod and funky, but nothing so far. I'm really not going to stress over a cake topper. I have enough to worry about.

Oops, sorry guys, my boss walked in and expected me to works or something.  The nerve.  Thanks! The wedding went great.  It was very small and I was nervous because I felt ill prepared, but everything exceeded my expectations beautifully.  It's going to be a few weeks before I get my pro pics.  I'll see if I can dig up some non-pro in the meantime.  We had a small ceremony in the Ramsey County Courthouse.  The courthouse is beautiful and it was performed in front of a huge marble statue.  It was unbelievable.  And the reception was gorgeous.  Lots of great food, tons of wine and beer and it was very laid-back.  I could not be happier.

Those are MUCH more afordable I wish I had something we both loved to put on our cake, but I don't think cow cake toppers would go very well. We'll be going the flower route, I believe.
