Want to thank people

So there are two friends of mine that have been an enormous help with wedding planning - giving ideas, squeeing with me when I find something I like, letting me see their old wedding planning stuff and budgets and whatnot.  They aren't bridesmaids as I am not that close to them, but I want a way to thank them for all the help they've given me.  I was thinking of putting something in the program but I'm not sure how to phrase it or where to put it.  I was also thinking about mentioning it during our speech at dinner, but I don't want to come off sounding like an Oscar winner with the "and I'd like to thank..."I'm definately going to get them a little gift (their favorite wine and some chocolates) as a thank you.  But since they've been just as helpful (and in some ways more, just because they've already been through the wedding process) as my BMs I wanted to acknowledge them to our guests as well.

If I wanted to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on the cat. image
