What do you think of Le Parker Meridien?

I would love to hear some feedback on the Le Parker Meridien in Midtown. I have a couple of concerns: 1) the function rooms seem rundown and not well-maintained; 2) the mixed reviews of the hotel on Trip Advisor (which is also often related to the relatively dated condition of the hotel); and 3) the hotel feeling non-exclusive because of its size and midtown location.

If you have seen the place or had your wedding at Le Parker Meridien, it would be great to hear about the pros and cons based on your experiences.

I've eaten in their restaurant norma's many times, and i think the whole facility is beautiful

Did you end up picking the parker meridien?  I was just there to view the site and was told they are redoing the space next month.

it still feels a bit run down! i'm really close to booking my wedding there but am questioning everything.
