Poll: One or Two Sinks?

So we're househunting and I have to say that the master bathrooms and kitchens are rather disappointing here. They just don't seem to put much importance on those two rooms Anyway, I mentioned to my SIL the other day how I was frustrated that we kept seeing houses with one sink in the master bathroom. She thought I was nuts and said that they've actually considered taking one sink out of their bathroom because it was a waste of space. REALLY??? So, one sink or two?

We have two and I love it.  I can't stand little beard hairs in my sink, but he can leave them in his if he wants.  It works well for us.  I wouldn't want to go back to one.

Right now, one. But I would like two, but definitely not needed. We get up and get ready at very different times and paces.

We have two.  I hate his contact solution and hairs.  But I hate them enough that I end up cleaning them all the time anyways.I love when the sinks and mirrors are seperate, and the mirrors have pretty frames.

We desperately want dual sinks at our next place, but we'd also settle for more counter space, as well. I think we like the idea of dual sinks because we have one of those bathrooms that only has the 2" worth of counter space around the sink. Buddy's never shared a bathroom with a female (even though he was previously married), so he's finding it a bit frustrating.

We have one, I really want two.  Next house will have two, definately.  We get in each others way too often.

2, without a doubt.  He is a slob, HUGE slob.  Lucily, our sinks aren't on the same counter, so I don't have to deal with his mess.  He crowds all his products around his sink with the reasoning that he's just going o use them again so why put them away?  1 sink would drive me BSC.

THANK YOU! I knew I wasn't crazy... We are renting now, and we have one sink with less than a foot of counter space on each side. We need two sinks Sarah - cute about the cats!

We have one, but need two. We get ready for bed together and one sink makes for a tight squeeze.

Monkey..he tries to do that too, but I hate things on counters so I always shove it back underneath.He is training quite well:)

Yea, Ideally I'd like seperate vanity areas so I wouldn't have to deal with his clutter.

we don't have a medicine cabinet, so I got a few baskets to contain our respective daily use products.  Cute, and functional.  Move the two baskets and the soap dispenser, and the counter is empty to wipe down.

Oddly, the houses here do have a high bedroom to bathroom ratio... The three bedroom townhome that we're renting has three full bathroom and a halfbath. And there's a maid's room that also has a full bathroom. So I guess it's technically four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. I'd rather have one less bathroom and have two sinks in the master!!!

Yep, I vote with Oot. 4 people in the house, 4 bathrooms. I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes, I'm high maintenance in that respect, and proud of it.

Yup, they are hand-blown (whatever you call it, ha ha) glasses. The picture was taken right outside the Tacoma Glass Museum. There were glass sculptures all over the place. flashbacks to majikglassbride.

in the bathroom? i have never in my life seen a bathroom with 2 sinks. ok, maybe at a restaurant.

Sarah - that's so cute I actually laughed! The one on the counter is like, "no fair!!!" And the one in the sink looks very comfy! Thanks for that! You DO need two sinks.
