What would you say or do if one of your children, niece, nephew (insert special child here) came to you and told you they wanted to be in the adult film industry?Support them? Try to talk them out of it? Also, I'm curious how other people perceive how being in the industry impacts young females and males.Clearly, I'm looking at becoming a porn star.

Probably try to talk them out of it.  I don't think the industry is a very healthy lifestyle overall (not that I know anything about it).

Do people actually PAY for porn anymore?  I thought that since the age of the internet, and since free porn is virtually EVERYWHERE, the porn industry would have tanked significantly.

Maybe he should be more concerned about her emotional well-being, since apparently that thought hasn't crossed his mind. I'd be pretty pissed off if my dad was willing to sell my virtue, good health, and self-respect for 400K.

oh yes, i'd encourage all of my children to take a spin in the adult film industry. it looks so solid on a resume and could really boost their career opportunities in the future. it will also help their future relationships because of all of the skillz they will learn.seriously? what is he thinking?

I'd be pretty upset if my niece came to me with this (YES THE IRONY). I'd do everything in my power to talk her out of this decision. I am not really sure how it impacts young people. I know that some young women/men who are in the sex industry have or had some negative things going on in their life. Being in this type of business does not make things better. Your self esteem plummets- Men/women using you for sexual puposes- Making money with your body-not your brain. That would get to some people after awhile. I will add I like the  porn so I hope it doesn't go away ever ;P
