Today is our two year anniversary. I knew he wouldn't remember (it's the guy factor). So, I got him a gag gift (a snuggie) and a funny card (with the naked backside of old people). I just gave it to him when I got home from work--and he got kinda pissed at me for not telling him--and then told me he didn't believe it was our anniversary, because the date didn't "seem right." Umm...okay---way to be lame, FI. But, on the bright side--we now own a zebra print snuggie!

that sucks.not to be a downer... but my DH is certainly a man, but remembers important dates like birthdays, anniversaries, ect.  sucks that he didn't remember.  i'd be irritated.

I just remind FI a billion times whenever something big is coming up, because it seems like that's what is necessary in his case. Like, "It really sucks that we're not going to be able to be in the same state for out ANNIVERSARY ON DECEMBER 16, since I have two papers due that day." Rinse and repeat.

It seems like if I talk about things in advance, he remembers. I think he was just more mad at himself for forgetting --thus the "date doesn't seem right" comment made its way out of his mouth. That said, I am irritated that he forgot.

Most guys are bad at things like that. I mark everything on the calendar, because I'm pretty bad at remembering those things too.Tim's birthday is on Sunday and I completely forgot until I lokked at the calendar a few days ago.

That sucks. I'm sorry. Guys can be such diicks sometimes. Congrats on the snuggie! There was a girl at work yesterday selling baked goods for charity. She was wearing the zebra print snuggie. She looked like a total tool, but she seemed very warm and cozy .

My BF doesn't remember anything unless I send him an Outlook meeting note about it.  If I need him to do something, I send a task.  He asked me to.  He knows that my birthday is at the end of March but often thinks it's the 31st.  Close but not quite.We don't celebrate our anniversary.  We know it's in the middle of November but that's it.  When we get married, I am sure that we will have to get married on a date that is easy for him to remember like the 1st or something.  Otherwise, I'll have to send a recurring appointment for that day!

A shared google calendar is a wonderful thing. Sucks that he forgot. I am intrigued by this zebra print snuggie. I think I might need one of those.
