we're buying. we had to do *a* repair for the fha loan (a minor leak). h's uncle made the repair, and in the process discovered the whole subfloor and tub and pipes need to be replaced.  there goes the fencing and the kitchen updates and the new foyer floor.

oh, that's not the way to enjoy your brand new bathroom.  Hopefully it will be smooth sailing in the bathroom, and you'll get the remodels you want asap.

Oh. Well when you have pics of your ideas, be sure to show them. I love that kinda stuff. For some reason I see you liking octagonal bathroom tiles (the small ones). Dunno why.

Daff, I sell Natural Stone Tiles at a Wholesaler in Fairfax, and my ex (whom I'm on great terms with) works for a bath and kitchen place in Vienna. Let me know if you want/need help.

That sucks   But at least you'll have a new shiny bathroom!  My only suggestion is glass tiles.  I have no idea how much they cost and most of them are tiny so I'm sure they're a pain to put in, but every glass tile job I've ever seen looked so pretty. I'm not much help, we're putting off redoing the bathrooms as long as possible.
