Good Morning~

Who is up? What's everyone doing? It's a dreary Sunday morning here and I'm up way earlier than I intended to be. No real plans other than a girls dinner this evening with my friends. FI went out with his friends last night and he didn't drunk dial me at 2 am like he usually does which means that he's either lost his phone or been arrested. Hopefully it's A. :)

Re: Good Morning~

• Where'd he stay last night?I'm up earlier than I want to be.  Trying to find jewelry for my girls.  Having the hardest time.
• Morning! How are my Goth puppets coming along? :PB2B, what style are you looking for? I'd be glad to help.
• He went to a bar in the next town over to watch the Notre Dame game and then go out with friends from college. He spent the night there and is golfing this morning. The last time I talked to him, he was real drunk and told me they had threatened to kick him out of the bar because he was screaming and jumping around when ND won. Oooh. Jewelry project. Are you looking for any particular colors?
• Goth puppets are going well. I'm just having a hard time finding blue hair.
• Scoetto - your goth puppet is totally getting this necklace.
• It's called yarn, cew :D
• Damn it. I told you I suck at DIY. ;)
• I really like that! Where did you find it?
• I just want something simple and just white crystal.  Cheap, not real. I want something that goes down a bit as they are wearing sweatheart necklines.  I'm not requiring them to wear what I get them, so I'd like it to be something they can wear when they get dressed up for church or whatever.  I really like the lariet style, but I'm not having much luck finding something with earrings that isn't over 30 bucks a piece.  I already got them at least 20 dollars worth of stuff.
• Have you looked into CZ diamonds? They're totally fake and look 100% real.
• Not really.  I had noticed some but they weren't very cheap.
• Look at amazon.com of all places. I got a black and "clear" CZ diamond square cut tennis bracelet for $40. You should be able to find something you want there, plus they always have good coupons & such. I'll take a look & see what I can find. Shouldn't be more than $30 for a set I would imagine.
• B2B, I told you last night when you started a thread on this last night that you could easily make something like what you want for about 5 to 10 bucks each, but you never answered.I'm up, and Knotting before I go for my run. Later today I'm going to be heading down to Baltimore to visit a friend and go to some museums. It will be nice to have a real day off; haven't had that since the beginning of the semester.Saw the Informant last night, and really liked it! Lately I've really been noticing the art used as props in movies, and in this one there were portraits of Lincoln everywhere. I'm wondering if getting a Ph.D. in Art History with a focus on American sculpture would qualify me to pick out art for movies... I'm waiting for the Coen brothers or Steven Soderbergh to give me a call.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
• Good morning Sarah! I'm jealous of your ability to run. Glad you enjoyed your movie. Who is in it?
• I'm very sorry Sarah.  I didn't mean to ignore you.  I'm not crafty at all - I would fail miserably at making jewelry!
• Good morning!!  Dog wouldn't stop barking, at 7.  This is hopefully great practice for when we have kids.  Hate to say it cew, but it is GORGEOUS in Baltimore.  It's like fall has started early.  On a better note, cew I ADORE that necklace!!!  I am checking the link out now.  Our wedding is October 24th, a little early for Halloween, but would fit the seson wonderfully.

• Matt Damon! He was really terrific in it, and I hope he gets an Oscar nom for this, because he's been quietly getting better and better over the last few years and I think he deserves the recognition. I was looking at my DVD shelf a couple of months ago, and I realized that while I actively collect Al Pacino, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Johnny Depp, Matt Damon is the secret MVP of my collection, because he's in so many of the movies I like.

• B2B, that's what I'm trying to tell you. I've always been bad at craft projects, but making jewelry really isn't all that hard. For making a lariat, it's especially basic because the chain does most of the work, and all you have to do is string a couple of beads on an eyepin and then close it with a pliers. Anybody who is selling these things on Etsy is ripping you off by charging $30 a set, because they are cheap and easy to make.I put a couple of further suggestions in your other thread, and pics of what I did for my SIL for her wedding.

• Well, then I'm headed to Baltimore. I think it's only about six hours. See you around 3. Sarah - I love Matt Damon. He's been a bit under the radar lately, but I think he's really good. My favorite so far has been The Departed.
• I hate to say it, but everytime I think of Matt Damon, I think of the South Park movie Team America and I think about how they made him so stupid looking/sounding.  For a while whenever someone did something dumb we would always go MATT DAMON.

• Yeah, I don't really know what Trey and Matt were up to with that one. Team America was about when their nihilism started to get on my nerves.I always think of "I'm Fuucking Matt Damon!" which seems to be FI's FAVORITE SONG for some reason. Jeez, he drives me nuts. :) But cool that Matt Damon is so good at laughing at himself.

• Your right, he is pretty funny!  Same with Ben Affleck, I think Matt Damon is WAY funnier, but they both are the last celebrities I would think as funny.  And the fact that they CAN laugh at themselve makes them HILARIOUS.  Usually people are so uptight with stuff like that.  It's good they can play along.

• Totaly off the Matt Damon subject, but I'm considering making some clutches for Christmas presents, but I've never done anything like that. Has anyone ever made a clutch?
• Sorry to say I haven't, but I was in AC Moore yesterday and from looking around you could definately make a clutch out of anything they had in there. Meaning they had a ton of stuff you could get really creative with.   Sorry that was absolutely no help :)

• Good Morning everybody!Cew how is my black and white haired snotty named puppet coming along;)
• Cew - I've never done it but that's a great idea for a present.
• Thanks tmm. I have some material that I ordered for no reason what so ever, so I think I might make some test clutches. aimerz! Good morning. Your puppet is coming along quite nicely. Not sure if you are going for the whole monstrosity look, but that's what it's turning out to be. I wasn't happy with the amount of cat hair I was able to get off of the couch, so I ended up shaving my cat. She's pissed.
