Sorry for the DD and repost.  I think I posted some of my friends facebook profile info.  Anyways, my friend from Houston posted that the Montgomery County animal shelter is closing tomorrow.  You can adopt for free tomorrow between 12-4.  There are 30 cats and 80 dogs left.  All animals without a home will be euthanized:(  So if anyone around there wants a new furbaby...

That is so sad.  I searched for a news article about it, to see how many they adopted so far.  The first page of links were blocked because they were infected sites.  That is very odd and I am wondering if it is real.

It seems like the only actual news, besides the same exact C&P you have, was on Houston ABC and the story was removed.  Something doesn't seem right about this.  Verona, do you have a good link?  Could it be a big hoax?

it is not a hoax, a knottie on my local board went and by the time she got there all of the dogs were gone. I am not sure about the cats.
