Just kidding! I hope everyone has a great Wednesday. I'm going on about 3 hours sleep, and my bathroom is in shambles (I'm retiling/fixing old tile) when it was supposed to be at least usable by today. I have another full night of work ahead, but hopefully we can shower instead of bathe by tomorrow night. This will be the first and last time I ever attempt to keep old tile and match with new, especially 30-some odd days before a damn wedding!

I did my double-duty workout again yesterday and I'm super pumped that it went better than last week.  I can actually feel my legs this morning.  But I'm exhausted and thinking of skipping my 50/50 class tonight to eat some soup at Outback and crash at like, 8.

Ha! Let me clarify: Just the SHOWER is not usable. Everything else works just fine. I replaced the sink, toilet and walls, leaving the 1950s tile surround because it's an awesome blue and I thought it would be cool to leave something original and work it into a fresh, white on white look with that splash of blue. The old tile used to go all the way around the room, from the floor to about 5' up. I should have not tried to keep the old tile and ripped it all out and started over. Much less time. That's what I get for trying to be youuuuneeeek.

No one needs to be down in the dumps... there's only two days until the weekend! Bec, your ceaseless energy amazes me. I'm inspired, yet oddly need a nap after every project I read about... I'm leaving work today after I finish prepping an exam and attend a meeting at 11:30. Trying to ward off the BSC which inevitably comes with me packing.

Well, I missed my workout the past two days because I've been up until 2 and 3 working on that bathroom, and I'm ready to either kill someone or just fall asleep standing up, so don't be too amazed, Missy. You get weddinged this weekend, no? How exciting!

Nugget - you're gaining weight because you're gaining muscle!  Don't trust that pesky scale, trust how your body looks and how your clothes fit.I just scheduled a massage for tomorrow night and I'm using the thought of that to pull me through today and tomorrow.

Hmmm, I've only stayed downtown a few times. The Blake is great, and the Center City Holiday Inn is pretty, and affordable. Both are easily walkable for the stadium.We swear by Ballantyne. It's a bit south of Charlotte, but SO worth the drive. It's probably 15 minutes max from the stadium. I love that place, especially for a romantic getaway.
