Morning Ladies!

Re: Morning Ladies!

  • I'm thinking around one? How far is Leesburg from you?
  • Oh and cew, i didnt look at them yet. I wanted to save it until I had time to properly peruse it. My husband has an art project to finish this weekend so he will be MIA and I cant bug him so I need something to occupy my time this weekend and this is perfect. I saw a show lastnight about dark fellowships on the discovery channel - it was about the Vril Society, and Im reading up on that right now.
  • We have a corn maze near here I go to every year and every year I get lost, I have no sense of direction.
  • Mapquest says about an hour, so it's not too far. I'm in, as long as you don't mind a waddling pregnant lady tagging along.

  • Amoro - luckily it was just a "fall festival" maze, not a "scare the crap out of you because people apparently enjoy that" kind of a maze. I would have died.

  • Um hell no! I'd love for you to come! Hell yeah for last minute knottie GTGs! I'm gonna email you my number so we can work it out. Now I'm super stoked!
  • Nebb - I've never heard of the Vril society. I'm going to google it right now.
  • It had something to do with nazi's, apparently most of the SS were in it. It was a satanic society of some sort. Thats as much as I gleaned from the show and can explain. It sounded interesting (Not cause I like nazi's, just because I find stuff like secret societies and their habits interesting).
  • Tide, I'm going to make you go into the corn maze today. We need to get over your fear of maize mazes.
  • Nebb- it's not really secret society related, but have you read The Celestine Prophecy? It's an amazing book.
  • Yeah, I don't think I'd like corn mazes.  Think I went to one when I was a kid, but now they would just frustrate me.cew - I've had some mild nausea, but nothing too terrible.  *crosses fingers*  It's also pretty early, but I'm hoping I don't develop it!  My mom said she never had any morning sickness, but she also has a cast iron stomach.  The only thing she had was an aversion to coffee, which is super odd for her since she is a nurse and was working nights back then. Can I pout that I'm too far away for your impromptu gtg?

  • Sucrets - that's good to hear. I developled morning sickness sometime around the 2nd month and I threw up at least twice a day right up until the day that I had him. I actually lost a considerable amount of weight (40 some lbs.) while I was pregnant, partially because I couldn't keep anything down. My sister is pregnant now and hasn't felt sick once. It's amazing to me how different the experience is for everyone.
  • scoetto - that was so last minute!  I was looking at the gps while we were driving and realized we'd be pretty close to her.  She has the cutest, high pitched, sing-song voice!tide - thank you!  That made me smile.  :)cew - I'm terrified of throwing up.  Even if I know it makes me feel better, I can't let it happen - it has to completely overtake me.  I've been this way since I was little and it sucks.  I used to tell my mom that she could be sure I'd never be bulimic.

  • Nebb - it's a great book. It's fiction, but some people believe it's premise has some merit. It's been a long time since I read it, so my memory is a bit fuzzy and I'm sure I'm not doing it justice. It's basically about the human race evolving into a race that has more of a mass conciosness that each individual can tap into. This evolved race creates a special kind of energy. There's much more to it than that, but that's all that I can recall right now. Have you ever read about the Manchurian Candidate or the Philadelphia Experiment? Those are two of my favorite topics as well.
  • Sucrets, I've never met Whit but we talk on the phone quite a bit. Almost daily. I'm in love with the accent. And yes, you and your baby blood elf will be there in spirit. Anyone else want to join us?
  • I was only sick for 2 weeks and never puked - so there's hope :) Apparently, from what I've been told, the pregnancy puking doesn't work like "normal" puking. You're sick, you puke, you still feel sick, but then you're hungry.

  • I'm here! Finally! Hello!
  • Cew - this is what I found. I dont know if this is the right one and I cant seem to get the volume to work http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/9530 (might just be my computer). I also found this for sale and couldnt seem to find it downloadable anywhere - http://store.discovery.com/detail.php?p=84915&v=discovery Im pretty sure this IS the correct one.
  • Sucrets - I'm sending non puking vibes your way. Nebb - my son loves learning about volcanoes. We read about it a lot. Yellowstone scares the shiit out of me b/c it has the potential to be an extinctionator (I just made up that word).
  • hi duds!scotty - doesn't she have the prettiest voice?tide - good to hear...and that sucks about being sick and hungry at the same time.  God, I hate puking.I think I'm going to put on a sweatshirt and sit outside.  It's actually cool here!
